The Decision That Shaped Everything

A few years ago, God told me to leave everything — and I mean everything. Not just my job, but my whole life. The community I'd been part of for decades, my friends, my church, my job, the state I called home. All of it.

I didn't have another job lined up. I didn't know where I was going to live. I didn't have a five-year plan or even a five-week plan. I just knew God said go, and I had two choices: obey or stay stuck.

So I went.

That decision became the foundation of everything I do now. Because how am I supposed to coach women on stepping into their calling if I haven't stepped into the scariest one myself? How am I supposed to write books about following God's voice if I didn't follow when it cost me everything I'd built?

"Obedience rarely comes with a roadmap. Most of the time, it comes with a direction and a choice."

Right now, I'm building what God sent me here to build. Writing, speaking, coaching, solving problems — and trusting that obedience is enough. It's all connected. It's all the same calling, just expressed in different ways.

For 24 years, I did this professionally — managing offices, leading projects, building systems. At the same time I was deep in ministry: chairing women's ministry, church governance, regional denominational leadership, preaching, advocacy. Every role was preparing me for this.

"Turns out, the same skills that fix broken systems can help people break free from broken patterns."

So now I do all of it. I write books. I speak at churches and conferences. I coach women who are ready to stop waiting. I help organizations solve what's keeping them stuck. And every bit of it is part of the same obedience.

Why This Work

I Stay Until the Work Is Done

Because I know what it costs to obey when obedience doesn't make sense. I know the gap between knowing what God said and actually doing it. And I know that gap isn't always about faith. Sometimes it's about mindset. Sometimes it's about systems. Sometimes it's about needing someone who's walked it to stay in the room until you break through.

I've worked with women who have been stuck for years — not because they didn't know what to do, but because something invisible kept stopping them. I've sat with ministry leaders drowning in operational chaos. I've watched organizations collapse under broken systems. I've preached to rooms full of people who needed permission to move.

"I stay in the room until what God placed inside you comes forth."

Whether it's coaching a woman through a transition, helping a ministry build systems that actually work, preaching a word that convicts and equips, or writing a book that challenges people to stop waiting — I stay until the work is done.

This isn't a side project. This isn't a platform I'm building for influence. This is obedience. And I don't take that lightly.

If you've been waiting for permission, clarity, or the perfect moment — you don't need any of that. You need to move. And if you're ready, I'm here.
